Valentine's Day for REAL

Well, I guess I was JUST KIDDING about going to Enumclaw for Valentine's Day. In actuality, we had a lovely FAMILY Valentine's Day at our house. Travis, Robyn, Brayden, and Mama Deb joined Kevin and I for an extremely Romantic evening. But really, it was a lot of fun. The menu, of which I am very proud, was Grandma G's Italian Chicken with a twist...half Italian Chicken/ half Chicken Parmesan with a delicious home-made Marinara sauce over angel hair pasta. mmm mmm gooood. Oh yes, and a Ceasar Salad (not the best dressing, Laura...but hey, I tried) After dinner Kevin, Trav, Robyn, and I went to the Tuxedo for Karaoke. A very rockin time it was, if I do say so myself. So although we missed out on a great time with Seth and Rebecca (Kevin was OH SO dissappointed that we missed the ballroom dancing. NOT), we did have a great night. :)

Travel Plans

It's official...we are traveling to Enumclaw for the weekend of Valentine's Day to visit Seth and Rebecca. The plan is to take a ballroom dancing lesson, which should be fab. Can't wait. Neither can Kevin, heh heh...ya right. ;) It should be a great weekend!

Our First Anniversary

Kevin and I have been married now a year. Our Anniversary was Monday, February 2nd. We spent the evening at the Marcus Whitman Restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised as we arrived, to find a dozen long stem roses at our table. Very sweet. Good husband. The food was pretty dang good, too. Kevin chose the better dish...steak of course. I got pork tenderloin, which was pretty good actually, but it was served on top of this butternut squash puree...and by puree, I mean baby food. (shudder) Pretty nasty. Anyway, this past year has been crazy. It's amazing how quickly it flew by. I feel like it was just yesterday that we were getting ready for the wedding. talk about a lot of work. And then, all at once it's been an entire year. At this rate, we'll be old before we know it. Ha, funnily enough, we already feel old and we are only 25. All I know is, we are greatful to have one another. I can't imagine my live without Kevin, and he would clearly be lost without me. ;) Well, Happy Anniversary baby..and here's to spending Valentine's Day with some good friends and new scenery.
